Een man uit Arendonk is het slachtoffer geworden van een nieuwe telefoonfraude. Elke week krijgt hij van een schimmige firma, met de naam ‘Ero247.mobi’, een bedrag van 7,5 euro aangerekend: niet via een kredietkaart, maar wel via zijn gsm-factuur.
Oplichters hengelen naar je codes, beveiligingsinformatie of persoonsgegevens om die te misbruiken. Phishing heet dat. Het gaat vaak via e-mail, maar gebeurt ook telefonisch, en met brieven en sms’jes. De oplichters doen zich vaak voor als een bedrijf dat je vertrouwt, zoals je bank. Dan heet het bankhelpdeskfraude.

Verified that the physical addresses provided (8 The Green and 1111B Governors Ave, Dover, DE) are well-known virtual office locations used by thousands of shell companies to create a false sense of U.S. presence.
Noted the 'upfront fee' requirement for reports, which is a textbook tactic used in 'secondary' or 'recovery' scams to exploit victims a second time.
Concluded that the site is part of a fraudulent network impersonating legitimate forensic entities.
